All Fantastic Four members gained flame powers in this reality, thus making the Johnny Storm of this reality the only member of the team who is identical to his Earth-616 counterpart. However, after a battle with Miracle Man and a monster statue goes horribly wrong and a young girl dies in a fire started by the team, all but Ben Grimm retired from adventuring. Johnny went on to become a world-famous race car driver now that, because of his powers, he no longer had to be afraid of fires.[citation needed]
