History

Hammerhead threatened Robbie Robertson to get him to stop publishing anti-crime editorials in the Daily Bugle. When Robertson didn't comply, Hammerhead and his men brutally beat Robbie in retaliation. Spider-Man's public fight against Hammerhead along with Robertson's anti-crime editorials eventually drove Hammerhead out of New York.
