Sailors are concerned the captain they sail with uses magic to avoid misfortune upon the ocean. When they finally abandon ship, it is revealed their captain is Neptune's son who would throw surface goods overboard so that his father could live in kingly style.

Synopsis for "Timetable"

Ben Parker is a train station dispatcher who longs to travel to exotic places. One weekend he returns home to find a timetable sitting on his dresser that's made out to his name. He figures someone must be playing a joke on him but when he looks out his window he sees a limo waiting for him. He meets with his host who transports Ben to exotic locales. After the weekend has passed Ben returns to his job thinking that he must have dreamed it all but then sees his host wave to him from a passing train.

Synopsis for "When Dave Opened the Door"

A detective is sent out to apprehend a cult leader for questioning regarding disappearances. The cult leader claims he comes from a parallel world to reach out to people who have the ability to cross into parallel worlds. The detective resents his stupid boss and nagging wife and the cult leader tells him that he has the ability to enter another world. When the detective enters the police chief's office he isn't aware of it, because he still resents his boss and wife, but they are different people from when the story began.

Jo won't marry Andy because he is over thirty and not financially successful. Andy gets a chance to relive his past, but due to self-sacrifice of his best interests in order to assist others, he still ages to thirty without acquiring much money. Jo's attitude towards Andy has changed because she experienced his altruism first hand and agrees to marry him.

Synopsis for "Monsters On the Moon"

Willard and his men arrive on the moon hoping to exploit natural resources but encounter an expedition from Uranus with the same idea. Both sides exchange weapon fire with one another for a bit then retreat thinking each other to be moon natives.
