Synopsis for "The Midnight Monster"
A rich scientist invents a serum that makes both plants and animals immortal but gives them a monstrous appearance. When he is rejected by a woman who marries another man he takes the serum and goes on a rampage to destroy them. Unknowingly, the man who is the intended victim devises a way to stop the monster by leading him out to an exceedingly deep pit which the military collapses under him. He and his wife ponder who the monster really was.
