In the year 2065 a 45 year old space pilot doesn't take his decommission lying down. He fabricates an alien costume he names Zarkorr who represents a Galactic Federation with an ultimatum for Earth. Since the people of Earth are beginning space travel, they must pass a test to determine their society's level of maturity or be quarantined or even possibly destroyed. They must have a pilot fly a spacecraft to Mars manually, not using any electronic computation. The current generation of pilots have all been trained to use the computers, but since he has only been decommissioned for three months, the space pilot completes the task and is successful in his ruse.

Synopsis for "Imitation Man"
A crooked amusement part owner builds a maze that has no exit and offers ten thousand dollars to anyone who can find the exit. He makes a great deal of money until a reporter threatens to expose him as a cheat and the owner takes him to the maze after closing time and locks him into an airtight section. The authorities rule it an accidental death, but his business has dropped off due to competition from another maze across town. The murderer talks to the owner of the other maze about becoming partners and the owner agrees if he can find the exit of his maze. The killer thinks that will be easy since he knows how mazes are constructed, but he soon becomes lost and notes that the maze has been stocked with enough food and water to keep a man alive for years. The owner of the new maze is revealed to be Fate, and he states that his maze actually does have one exit, but not one his unfortunate guest is going to like. The exit goes straight down to Hell.
