East Berlin officials are on the lookout for an enemy agent they've deemed X-8-8. After finding numerous corpses and with how frequent the undertaker moves from east to west Berlin they decide to follow him. At the home of the undertaker they discover many of their fallen comrades killed by shock. They confront the undertaker as Agent X-8-8 but he simply laughs at the name they've dubbed him and removes his face to reveal the form of Death itself, killing all the nearby military.

A scientist moves into a small town that proves his undoing when he builds a robot for a mate, and the townspeople suspect that he has hypnotized the beautiful woman into remaining with the homely man. When the town drunk reports that he saw the man take a knife to her (to disassemble her), a mob forms and they lynch him.
