Synopsis for "The Shadow from the Steeple"
This story extends the events from last issue's "Haunter of the Dark" describing how the entity of the Shining Trapezohedron possesses a human body in order to build weapons of mass destruction. Based on the story by Robert Bloch, who wrote the story in response to H.P. Lovecraft's "The Haunter of the Dark" (which, in turn, was in response to Bloch's "Shambler from the Stars").

Synopsis for "An Invasion of Privacy"
A mad scientist transplants his wife's brain into the body of one of his killer dogs to keep her from informing the police that the animals have killed three people who ventured onto the grounds. She guides the other animals into killing her husband.
