History
Like every creature found on the Beyonder's Battleworld following the events of the first Secret Wars, Juneyar was the product of the subconscious mind of the Fantastic Four's Thing, [1] the Thing had decided to remain on Battleworld [2] after discovering he could change back and forth between human and Thing forms. [3] Each of these creations were based off some aspect of Ben's memories or personality, with entirely fabricated backgrounds and origins. [1]
The was the future ruler of the kingdom of Muab, for reasons unknown he was taken out of the city in a caravan. However if he was away from the kingdom for more than a month it would succumb to the power of black magic. The boy was sought after by Grimm the Sorcerer who sent his minions to attack the caravan. The attackers were prevented from stealing the boy by the Thing and his companion Tarianna. The boy's cartaker, Tabith had the Thing swear to get the boy to Muab before she died. Nicknaming the child "Junior" (which Tarianna pronounced "Juneyar") the couple made the dangerous trek to Muab. Along the way Ben became attached to the child and briefly considered keeping him but decided against it. They were impeded by minions of the Sorcerer but made it to the city of Muab. When the Sorcerer made a last ditch effort to capture the child, Ben was forced to choose rescuing the child over Tarianna who was spirited away. After getting the child to Muab, Ben learned how important Juneyar was to these people. However, even though he was hailed as a hero, the Thing did not longer and departed shortly thereafter to rescue Tarianna. [4]
Presumably when the Thing later left Battleworld, Juneyar ceased to exist before the planet self-destructed. [1]
