History

K.A.T.I.E. was an artificial intelligence developed by Tony Stark. He used her to remotely-control several of his armors while evacuating his surroundings in preparation for a battle against the time-traveler Tami.

Trivia

• K.A.T.I.E. was conceived by Murewa Ayodele and Dotun Akande, the creative team behind Avengers Unlimited Infinity Comic #9–13, under the shared belief that Tony Stark would not only have specialized suits, but also specialized AIs, with K.A.T.I.E.'s forte being to integrate other suits to Tony's main armor. In the same vein, Ayodele and Akande have introduced other specialized AIs for Iron Man: B.R.I.A.N. in Iron Man (Vol. 6) #25 and D.E.E.D.E.E. in I Am Iron Man #4.
