History
Kaine was among the residents of San Francisco to be infected by the Carrion Virus . He encountered the reality-displaced Scarlet Spider of Earth-616 and the Spider-Woman of Earth-65 and attacked them, but he succumbed to the virus during the battle. The Web-Warriors took his corpse to Earth-001, where they performed an autopsy on him to learn about the Carrion Virus.[1]
