On Earth-791218, Baron Mordo's life would take a different path when Stephen Strange would seek out the Ancient One to restore his damaged hands. In this reality, Baron Mordo would be ordered by Dormammu to reverse the damage done to Strange's hands. After, Strange would return to America where he would continue his practice with an over-inflated ego. After Strange would be found guilty of malpractice, Mordo would appear again and offer to teach Strange the mystic arts. Strange would accept the offer and join Mordo back at his home where he would be trained.
After a time, Dormammu would find that Strange had surpassed Mordo in magical power and potential and order Strange to slay Mordo. Strange would confront Mordo, easily overpower him and slay him, reducing his body to smoke.
