Similar to that of her Earth-616 counterpart's until Brent Jackson took over Weapon X.

During a Sentinel attack on the X-Men, Mesmero and Sauron snuck into the mansion and used their combined hypnosis powers to take control of Xavier, and threatened to make him kill himself, forcing the X-Men to surrender. When Wolverine arrived, Malcolm Colcord, the Director, threatened to kill Kitty if he didn't surrender. Wolverine complied, but Colcord chose to kill Kitty anyway right in front of Wolverine.
