Synopsis for "And Sudden Death!"

Kid Colt is riding across the range and comes across a new settlement and remarks how fast the west is expanding. Not far away is a group of Comanches who have noticed the new settlement and decide to go in and talk to the settlers about sharing their hunting grounds in order to maintain peace. However when they arrive in town a local named Larson shows the Comanches disrespect and when the Comanches in turn insult him he draws his gun and shoots one of the men dead. The other Comanches flee the hail of bullets just as Kid Colt comes into town.

Kid Colt rushes to the people and tell them to leave the body alone, telling them that the Comanches don't like it when outsiders touch the bodies of their dead and tells them that the Comanches will return to reclaim the body. He also tells them that the Comanches will seek to avenge the death and that the villagers should turn the killer over. They tell the Kid that Larson is the killer is, and Kid Colt catches him as he is drinking and has him put on guard so they can turn him over to the Comanches when they arrive.

That night Kid Colt and the settlers watch as the Comanches take the body of their dead comrade and leave a marker asking the settlers to turn over the killer. However before they can take Larson to the Comanches he puts up a struggle and his guard is forced to shoot him dead. Kid Colt takes Larson's dead body over to the Comanche camp. However he spots a Comanche sentry waiting to fire an arrow at him. Kid Colt sets Larson up on his horse and sends Steel forward and sneaks around. Kid Colt jumps the brave from behind and subdues him. Going to the chief of the Comanches he turns over the body of Larson and then re-establishes peace between the settlers and the Comanches.
