Synopsis for "The Secret of Midnight Mountain!"
Chapter Two - Kid Colt tussles with some ghosts inside of a cave on Midnight Mountain. He soon learns that the ghosts in question are Caleb and his two partners who had trampled him out front of Red Rock. Using Steel, Kid Colt, has him push the boulder that had him trapped in the cave. Kid Colt then hid atop said boulder and waited for Caleb and his partners to assume he fell off the mountain before attacking. During the skirmish the Kid was pushed off the mountain's edge but luckily grabbed onto a hanging vine saving himself. He and the gang had a brief shootout while the Kid was left dangling until the Kid ran out of bullets and everything was looking bad for him. That is until he heard a scream and Caleb came tumbling off the mountain himself and upon climbing up he saw that his partners were unconscious with fright. The Kid left a note for the Sheriff who most likely heard the gunshots and rode off thinking that perhaps Midnight Mountain was haunted and that the ghost saved his life.
