History
Thamos betrayed and murdered the late king of Argos, whom Conan served, just to become a bloody tyrant. For his act of treachery, the Cimmerian left him a bloody stump where his hand had been. He pursued Conan on the high seas, until he was told by Kezan Val, whom later executed, that the barbarian turned the Western Corsairs into the Crimson Brotherhood. He died in the ensuing naval battle between the two fleets, when the Water Nymph Miri, who was in debt towards Conan, used her powers to unleashed the fury of the sea upon his ship.[1]
