  • Sandman One’s parachute jump onto American Kaiju’s back is a reference to the final act from Godzilla (2014) in which a strike team parachutes down to San Francisco to recover a nuclear warhead as they free fall pass Godzilla.
  • American Kaiju’s battle with a Symbiote Dragon in which he jabbed a spire into the creature’s throat is a reference to a similar battle scene between King Kong and Godzilla in King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962).
