History
Kitang was a member of Attilan's Genetic Council. One of his responsibilities was to oversee Terrigenesis ceremonies, where young Inhumans would be exposed to the Terrigen Mist. Maximus ordered his henchman Auran execute Kitang when he refused to give the Genetic Council's support for a coup to overthrow King Black Bolt. After Maximus' coup succeeded and the various members of the Inhuman Royal Family fled to Earth, Maximus suggested the Royal Family's disappearance - the true reason for which was unknown to Attilan's people - was connected to Kitang's death.[1]
Notes
- Marco Rodríguez portrays Kitang in the Marvel's Inhumans episode "Behold... The Inhumans!."
Trivia
- The scene where Maximus orders Auran to kill Kitang was left out of Marvel's Inhumans: The First Chapter, a feature-length version of the first two episodes of Marvel's Inhumans screened in IMAX theaters.
