Synopsis for "Savage Tales"
Shuri has come to the Savage Land to negotiate with Ka-Zar for some of the continent's vibranium. But she runs into some dinosaurs, who attack her, before Shanna arrives. As Shuri explains her reasons for being here, Shanna finds it preposterous, as Ka-Zar has been missing for weeks. Shuri confers with Flea, her techman in space, to analyze blood samples found in Ka-Zar and Shyanna,s home, including a mysterious disk that was on one of the dinosaurs. Flea determines the disk to be some sort of transmitter, before it lets out some sort of ear-piercing sound, causing Shuri to lose contact with Flea.
Shuri and Shanna then start tracing Ka-Zar's trail. Along the way, they run into orangutans and Zabu, all wearing the same disk that's causing them to go wild. Once they removed the disk of the latter, they discover the perpetrators: AIM. The terrorists have established a mining operation in the Savage Land and are using the native creatures to keep other away. Among the various captives is Ka-Zar. Shuri goes down and fight the beekeepers, while Shanna frees the animals and her husband. But Ka-Zar reveals that the director of this operation is in fact Klaw, who is planning on triggering a volcanic eruption that with destroy all the vibranium. It is at that moment that Klaw reveals himself and confessing that it was he who posed as Ka-Zar in order to lure Shuri into a trap, so he could orchestrate an assassination of the Wakandan ruling family.
