History
Origins[]
Kloto was a gremlin or leprechaun (or of the creatures that would become the gremlins, leprechauns and elfs) and lived on Atlantis among his fellows, along with humans and centaurs.[1]
Pre-Cataclysmic Age[]
He and his fellow gremlins and leprechauns used to steal the Sacred Ball, a ball protecting Atlantis from the sea, endangering the land despite the repeated warnings of the Magic One, the Sage of Atlantis. As Kloto stole once more the ball, the Magic One, exceeded, banished the gremlins and leprechauns to a bottomless pit, where they were powerless. Although, it was too late and Atlantis was destroyed by the waters.[1]
Modern Age[]
Ages later, during the Modern Age, wealthy industrial tycoon Serge Kemplet organized an expedition to search and mine mineral deposits of mineral wealth and, aboard his bathysphere, stumbled upon the bottomless pit. There he was offered great rewards by Klotto if he could return them to the surface, where their powers would let them take over the world. First complying, Kemplet soon realized his folly and sabotaged the bathysphere to trap the leprechauns and gremlins, along with himself, at the bottomless pit.[1]See Also
