History
Korg's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's, including being a member of the Hulk's Warbound. He helped the Hulk defend Sakaar, including fighting off the Fifth Imperium to defend the last remaining Shadow Elders. When the Hulk went into hiding, Korg helped people travel to Sky City, a floating city created as a refuge for Sakaar's citizens.
One day, he was contacted by Amadeus Cho to get him and his granddaughter Tala to get to Sky City so they could get She-Hulk's help in rescuing Haarg children from Grand Priestess Venkiera. Korg later aided She-Hulk in fighting Venkiera's Sentinels while Cho and Tala freed Venkiera's prisoners. However, Venkiera had set up a trap so she could use She-Hulk's gamma energy to power a doomsday weapon to eliminate the Haarg from Sakaar by destroying the planet.[1]
Korg helped Cho free Jen from the machine and then helped evacuate civilians to Sky City. Cho helped use his gamma energy to keep Sky City afloat until they could reach where Banner lived. They then convinced Banner to help Sakaar.[2]
Using his intelligence, Cho located Venkiera's doomsday machine, and Banner destroyed it. However, the machine's true function was to stop the spinning of Sakaar's molten core, leaving the planet vulnerable to cosmic rays that the core's magnetic field fended off as part of Venkiera's insane plan to cleanse Sakaar by killing everyone, including herself. Banner was able to reverse this by jump-starting the core's spin by striking it with tremendous force. With Sakaar saved, everyone began making peace.[3]Attributes
