Notes

  • The film was originally scheduled for a January 13, 2023 release.[1] It was later pushed back to October 6, 2023.[9] It would later be pushed back again, to August 30, 2024, due to the 2023 Writers & Actors Strikes.[10]
  • According to the official movie synopsis, Spider-Man was seemingly set to confront Kraven at some point.[11] Spider-Man's mention was later removed, however the Red Band trailer for the film and Imagine Engine's portfolio still mentions his involvement.[12][13]

Trivia

  • Aaron Taylor-Johnson had previously portrayed the Marvel character Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Russell Crowe portraying Zeus.
  • During the film's production, there was originally planned to be a scene depicting the Symbiotes' homeworld with dead symbiotes. It's possible that it would've shown Knull freeing himself and taking control of the symbiotes, but this scene was ultimately scrapped.[14]
