Synopsis for "Homer!"
The Creeper has bust out of prison and the first thing he does is take Homer and his nephew, Hector, as his prisoners. He takes the pair to his hideout where he forces the two to count the many pinheads he's stolen before leaving to still bigger game like thumbtack heads.
While away Homer uses his pet bee, Stinging Sam, to send a message to Officer Pete. Sam successfully alerts the officer and Pete is on the Creeper's trail. The Creeper returns worried he'll get caught so he forces the prisoners to hide his stolen goods, including his recent theft of a box of safety pins. The pair make a chain of the safety pins and rope up the creeper just as Officer Pete bursts down the door and knocking into the Creeper who knocks into Homer. The three unconscious Hector wheels them to the police station.

Synopsis for "Looking for Trouble"
Toughy is bored being around Snappy who's been reading. Snappy tells him a made up story about an ancestor of Toughy's named Crossy who was named that on account of them being cross-eyed. The story was about how Crossy's owner would build two of things to ensure Crossy wouldn't get confused and always find the things he was looking for, examples being two saucers of milk to drink or two telephone poles to get away from dogs.
Toughy realizing the story is made up just when Chester comes strolling over. Chester tells Snappy that he heard Posty say he saw Snappy in Krazy Komics but wasn't sure as he had never seen him. Chester went on to say that Posty said that if that was Snappy he was the grumpiest turtle he had ever seen. Toughy had a good laugh at that before he and Chester decided to go to the park to pick flowers, only after Chester told Toughy that the great General MacArthur also liked flowers did Toughy join in on the flower picking.
While picking flowers the pair spotted Ziggy Pig taking a nap. Toughy decided he'd give Ziggy a hot foot by using some matches he had. While about to perform the deed Toughy was stopped by Ziggy who was awake and told him to put out the match before he accidently lit the nearby hay on fire. Toughy thinking that's a great idea was about to do it before a police officer stopped him and confiscated the matches while also reprimanding Chester for picking flowers in a park they are meant to be seen in not picked. He also called out Ziggy for not being at home helping his mother. Three then sped off.

Synopsis for "Skinny Bones"
Skinny Bones is send to investigate fortune tellers and after meeting with one he goes out searching for spies. After finding a spy hideout that is being used to try and contact spirits of their government masters. At first they mistake the knock at the door for a spirit but soon realize Skinny is not one and throw him in the basement where Skinny finds tools to make them believe the spirits are real. First he finds a microphone and orders them to do a bunch of outlandish moves then he finds a projector that he casts ghostly illusions onto the spies.
Just as the spies begin to catch on and attack Skinny, he somehow manages to defeat them all by various hijinks. Meanwhile an FBI car is driving past the hideout and hears the commotion, upon investigating they find the spies and hail Skinny a hero.

Synopsis for "Pookey the Poetical Pup"
Pookey decided to cash in their piggy bank with Spikey to go see a Terrytoon movie but the bank is stolen by the cat who wants it for catnip. The two try and get it back by placing tacks on the road, but after the cat steps on the tacks they toss the piggybank away.
While looking Pookey spots a family of skunks who scares them away with their smell. After running the come to a farm and spot the piggy bank in the hands of a mother pig and her two children. The mother pig thinks the bank is a baby and calls out the father, a large boar. Pookey decides to just take the money and leave the bank just as the cat comes around and is stomped by the boar who thinks the cat was behind the kidnapping. Pookey and Spikey finally make it to the theatre and find that it is closed for repairs.

Synopsis for "Posty"
Posty spots that Terrible Tony has escaped from prison in the newspaper when he hears a ring at his door. The man at the door is Terrible Tony who brushes off his identity by saying he just looks like Tony but that he's only there to sell magazines. This puts Posty at ease and he shows him around his house even a fancy cup that Tony was eyeing. Tony leaves via the fire escape so he doesn't accidently scare a police officer who might make the same "mistake" Posty does. Soon after three police officers barge into Posty's house where they're looking for Terrible Tony. Posty realizes his mistake when he seeing that his prized cup is missing. He tells the police he went out the window and the police officers charge out, however they go out the wrong window and fall two stories into garbage cans.
Posty seeing their mistake takes Lolly to catch Tony. Catching up to Tony's truck Lolly grabs Posty whos' holding it which causes it to stop. Tony checks out the strange occurrence just as Lolly lets go of Posty who was holding the truck causing Posty to shoot back onto Tony. Tony goes to attack Posty while Lolly is looking through the truck. Lolly throws Posty's fancy cup away which lands on Tony's head knocking him out. Posty gets a reward for the capture of Tony, but is more worried about what happened to Tony's magazines.
