History
Agent Krol was a former member of S.H.I.E.L.D. and H.A.M.M.E.R., specialized in robotics. He was interested in studying the feeling of pain in A.I., practice that developed easily in cruel experiments. After H.A.M.M.E.R.'s dissolution he fought during Arno Stark's robot uprising, killing innocent robots. At some point after that, he became an independent contractor within Orchis, even though it is not known who recruited him. During his time in Orchis he apprehended the cyborgs Albert and Elsie-Dee; he then reprogramed the first and transformed into a bazooka the latter.[2]
After the events of the third Hellfire Gala, Krol was assigned to securing and taking control of the Limbo Embassy, which was the home of a group of mutants lead by Madelyne Pryor, the Goblin Queen. To do this, he and his colleague, Agent Vallens recruited a rogue variant of the Goblin Queen, that could've managed to face her counterpart native to Earth-616.[3] The three decided to take a direct attack on the building, after having trapped Pryor and her X-Men, with the secondary objective to liberate and recruit Chasm, a prisoner of Pryor. The team managed to free the captive, who chose to not join the anti-mutant organization.[4] After the X-Men had freed themselves, Krol attacked Albert and Zero, but was killed and absorbed by the mutant duo.[1]Trivia
- Victoria Hand, Krol's former boss, described him as "needlessly cruel, even for our standards". Also according to Hand, Krol was disturbingly attracted to the Iron Patriot Armor.[2]
- His file on Orchis' database is heavily redacted and, because of this, not much of his past is known.[2]
