History
Kryo was the homeworld of advanced humanoid aliens.[1] The planet was one of five special planets found by the Silver Surfer whose rare and unique energies would give Galactus powers beyond imagination. With the arrival of the Black Winter, the Surfer gave the planets coordinates to Thor, who became Galactus's new herald.[2]
At the time of Galactus and Thor's arrival, the planet's population was aware of the threat, and assembled their armies. However, before Thor could send them to Asgard, the arrival of the Black Winter prompted Galactus to start feeding on an destroy the planet.[1]
