History
Nightcrawler presumably shared a similar history to his Prime Marvel Universe counterpart who was a member of the X-Men defending Mutantkind. The exploits of Nightcrawler and the others were recounted to a young Bishop by his grandmother.[1]
Notes
- The depiction of these characters is unlikely to be true to their actual appearance as these are presumably the way that a young Bishop was imagining events as described by his grandmother from her retelling. This is most obvious with Toad who is depicted as being exactly like an actual Toad, and Wolverine and Shadowcat who were depicted with a significantly darker skin tone and more animalistic than their actual Earth-1191/616 appearances. Also whether Scarlet Witch was involved in the actual event is also uncertain as Blob was the only one depicted who participated in the event on Earth-616.
