History
Year 1[]
At the start of the Sinister Age, Nightcrawler and Doctor Nemesis were further mutated by Margali Szardos. The two were found by Mother Righteous, who started a quest to free them from the curse, and by Mister Sinister, who locked the two up and created a clone of Nightcrawler to replace him on the Quiet Council.[1]
Year 5[]
During a Council meeting, Storm noticed that Nightcrawler had been replaced by the imposter, making prompting Sinister to emerge, revealing that he was not in the Pit, that all the Council members were under his influence and that Kurt Wagner had been transformed into a monster.[2]

Year 10[]
Before Year 10, Mother Righteous managed to find Margali Szardos and kill her to break Nightcrawler's curse. From this point, Kurt's DNA became usable for Sinister to create Chimeras. Specifically, Nightcrawler's genes were utilized to create the Legion of the Night, Sinister's squad of assassins. The group turned against Sinister and allied themself with Mother Righteous and started stealing useful objects and weapons; during one of these quests, they met Nightcrawler and collected his memoirs and his writings about the Spark.[3]
Year 100[]
Doctor Nemesis and Nightcrawler were abandoned on Earth, at the Graymalkin Habitat, when it was evacuated. The two were rescued by Wagnerine and the Legion. Once Nightcrawler discovered what Mother Righteous had done with the teaching of the Spark, he became enraged and attacked her. He was promptly killed by Mother Righteous and his body was mummified by his Chimeras, who started questioning Mother Righteous' leadership.[4]See Also
