History
The Brother Royale of the Badoon Empire had an affair out of love with a female of another species, which resulted in a female offspring. Those were traditionally killed by the Brotherhood of Badoon, but the Monarch could not bring himsef to do it and instead ordered one of his trusted men to hide her.[1]
The infant named L'Wit was placed onto Ubliex, a planet that no ship could escape because of how close it was to a black hole, with nothing but a ring with an Elemental fragment and an incription mentioning a "green savior". She was adopted by a man named Harly, who raised her as his own. When she was ten, she came to run drugs to the gang of the Vestigials to pay for her father's medicine, convinced that he did not know how she made money.[2]
Unbeknownst to her, the entire Badoon Royal line was wiped out by Gamora, making L'Wit the only heir to the throne and her existence known mere days before Ubliex was to be swallowed by the black hole entirely.[1] The Brotherhood of Badoon hired a pirate named Klaxon to find L'Wit, and with time of the essence he wasted no time looking for her and simply ordered to have her deliver a drug shipment to him.[3]
Klaxon took L'Wit to the spot where the Badood dropped for them the Elemental, an item of great power that could only be used once and capable of charging a starship enough escape the black hole's gravity. However, it was stolen by Vestigials and L'Wit was found by Gamora, who sought to finish her work and end Badoon Royal bloodline. L'Wit though that Gamora was her "green savior" and was crushed to learn that she was there to kill her instead.[2] They were found by the Vestigials and Gamora realized that L'Wit's ring held a fragment of the Elemental required to properly utilized it. L'Wit sought to escape Gamora and witnessed Ezrik kill her father Harly.[4]
She eventually was able to convince Gamora to let go of her revenge and Gamora agreed to help her and a few others escape Ubliex before its destruction. They stole the Vestigials' ship and used the Elemental to escape the black hole's gravitational pull. Afterwards, Gamora departed them to return to Thanos, leaving the survivors to find their own way as L'Wit had no interest in actually being a member of the reborn Badoon Royal dynasty.[5]See Also
