Valerie Van Dyne was a rich and bored socialite. When she decided to change environment to overcome boredom she met Larry, a penniless piano teacher and fell in love with him to the point of marrying him despite the people of her social class questioning that relationship. Immediately after the wedding Valerie had doubts about the social difference between her and Larry but after seeing again the usual faces that she used to hang out she immediately changed her mind convinced that she had made the right choice.[1]
