History
Most of the details of William's life is unknown, although it can be assumed that he married and had at least one child before he aged, developed severe dementia, and was placed in a nursing home.
As a result of his dementia, William was left lying in a bed in a borderline vegetative state and unable to remember anything about himself, including his own name. One day, when Senator Krane was being interviewed on television, the Lasher symbiote emerged from a vent and bonded with him, telling him that he was now its home. When his wife was about to feed him, the symbiote sensed Carnage's call, took him over, and rampaged through the nursing home, killing everyone he could find. Because Lasher refused to join him, Carnage drew Willian's consciousness into the Hive-Mind and took the young form of his wife, Suze, and offered to help him fill in the blanks of his memories if William did as he said. Willian accepted despite Lasher's warnings that Carnage was deceiving him, and proceeded to make his way across the United States to Washington DC.
Eventually realizing that Carnage had tricked him, Willian learned that his body had died at some point during his travels but that it was too late to resist Carnage's will. Upon arriving at the Lincoln Memorial, William asked Lasher to release him and his corpse spattered to the ground near some Friends of Humanity agents waiting for Lasher's arrival. Following his body's death, William's consciousness was stored in the Hive-Mind as a codex, where Carnage thanked him for bringing Lasher to his hive and kept his "promise" to reunite William with his family by killing him.[1]Attributes
