Laura Jay was the wife of Victor Jay, a vigilante of the 1940s known as Mister E. When he disappeared during World War II, Laura waited for him for a few years before moving on and taking up Victor's original Jewish surname, Goldstein.

When Victor woke up in the modern era, he sought out his family. When he found them, Laura was very aged and bedridden. Upon seeing Laura, VIctor broke down in tears and kneeled in front of her bed saying he was sorry, though she was sleeping.[1] Laura died shortly afterwards, and Victor attended her funeral. After everybody had left, he spoke to her coffin and further expressed his remorse.[2]

  • Laura was born in 1921.[2]
