Le Coq Bleu was the leader of France's black ops team known as the Le Bureau Discret who found their teammate Anaïs "dead" in the Montmartre hilltop-borough of northern Paris. Bleu called in their specialist Le Necrogateur to telepathically read her thoughts to determine what happened.

But Bleu and his group were ambushed by the mutant group X-Force before learning Anaïs was only hit with a suspended animation bullet that simulated death.
Their main target was Necrogateur himself, and X-Force body-slided out of there while leaving the Bleu and his team out cold.[1]Notes
