History

Leander Jones was the father of Washington Jones, better known as Whitewash Jones when he was in the Young Allies.

When the Young Allies were captured by Berbers on an adventure in Africa, one of them addressed Whitewash and said "there is a true son of Allah", to which Whitewash, not understanding the sentence, replied that he was mistaken as his father was called Leander.
