The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation. The tower is situated behind the Pisa Cathedral and is the third-oldest structure in Piazza del Duomo.
History
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the many monuments around the world attacked by Loki using a mind controlled Thor, though other Asgardian gods later promised to repair them all and erase their destructions from the minds of mankind.[1]
The Leaning Tower of Pisa had never leaned so far before the Mole Man attempted to speed up the Earth's rotation on its axis, and at that time there were talks of adding props under it.[2]
The Mighty Avengers battled Terminus at Pisa and Hank Pym was forced to hold the tower up.[3]
