Legion is a television series created by Marvel Television for FX, which stars the character David Haller. It is the first series made by Marvel and Fox, that is based on characters from the X-Men comics, with the second and final one being The Gifted.

History
On March 15, 2017, it was announced that FX had ordered this series to be renewed for a second season.[6]
Filming for the second season began on September 28, 2017.[7]
On February 6, 2018, it was announced that season 2 would premiere on April 3, 2018.[8]
For the second season, Jermaine Clement and Hamish Linklater, who recurred on the first season as Oliver Bird and Clark DeBussy, respectively, were promoted to series regulars. Navid Negahban also joined the cast as Amahl Farouk in Season 2 as well.
While Katie Aselton was credited as a series regular in the first season, she was credited as a recurring member in Season 2.
Bryan Singer, who was an executive producer on the first season, was not credited in Season 2.
On June 1, 2018, it was announced that FX had renewed this series for a third season.[9] On February 4, 2019, it was announced at the Television Critics Association press tour, that this series would end with its third season.[10] Joining the cast are Lauren Tsai as Switch,[11] and Harry Lloyd and Stephanie Corneliussen as David's parents Professor X and Gabrielle, respectively.[12]See Also
