History
Leipzig is a city in Sachsen, one of the federal states of Germany. In the 17th century, Leipzig was one of the major European city-centres of learning and culture. South of Leipzig was Zeulniz, the historical birthplace of Baron Helmut Zemo and his family lineage.
The Momentary Princess was a jewel created in 2084 and sent into the past, where it would appear in the same area in Leipzig, every 27-29 years for a few minutes. Its first recorded appearance was in 1897 then Jean-Luc LeBeau almost managed to obtain it.[1]
In 1916, the Momentary Princess was found by a young soldier Wolfgang von Strucker. He touched it and saw his future as he became the leader of Hydra.[1]
The Princess appeared again in 1943, during World War II. Strucker, Candra, Jean-Luc, and Nick Fury's Howling Commandos tried to get it, but Jean-Luc claimed it first.[1]
In the present, Jean-Luc sent his foster son, Gambit to Leipzig. Famous archaeologist Sekmeht Conoway and Strucker's childrens, Fenris, also hunted for the gem, but while they all fought, the Princess appeared and disappeared again.[1]
