Doc Samson was hired by the U.S. Army to find the Hulk.
He managed to find him, but the Hulk eventually escaped.
Samson tried to catch the Hulk again, but he was beaten and knocked out.

He eventually captured him with a sleeping gas made from Hulk' sweats..
