History

At the end of the World War II, Max Eisenhardt, the future Magneto, took revenge on the Nazi scientist August Hirt for his role in the genocide perpetrated against the Jews in Auschwitz by having 115 Jews in the concentration camp killed for one of his scientific experiments. Max, after finding him when he was fleeing to France, put him in a position to choose whether to hang himself or if he preferred to live, in which case Max would have retaliated by killing his father Leopold, his sister Greta and his children Theodor and Sylvie. Eventually Hirt hanged himself in his own cell with the rope given to him by Max.[1]
