History

When Beast visited the Guthries along with Dark Beast, Dark Beast saw Lewis trying to make appear his 'mutant abilities'. Believing his powers would one day manifest, Dark Beast experimented on Lewis, injecting him with necrotized DNA found in Genosha on a depowered mutant, along with an immunosuppressant. Lewis almost died because of his experiments and Lewis' mom Lucinda shot the Dark Beast while Beast managed to save Lewis.

He seemingly recovered and later joined the city marching band.

Injected with necrotized DNA found in Genosha on a depowered mutant, along with an immunosuppressant, he developed kind of an unsuccessful mutation, modifying his pigmentation and making him successively drool and spit blood (possibly because of the fall of his immune system).
