History
The incantation of Hak-Heru to bound the demon Wraarl, the Devourer of Souls, ended with "...Yith Ran Tegoth Lloigar Zar!".[1]
Notes
- Zhar and Lloigor were Great Old Ones created by August Derleth and Mark Schorer in "The Lair of the Star-Spawn".
- Various beings appeared or were mentioned in Marvel Comics, who are seemingly either another name for Zhar and Lloigor, or are inspired by them:
- Lloigoroth, first appeared in Avengers #352 (September, 1992).
- Zhar-Llogos, mentioned in Mighty Avengers (Vol. 2) #3 (January, 2014).
- Aditionnaly, the Lloigor is also the name of a species (possibly descended from Lloigor) created by Grant Morrison's story Zenith (1987), where they were known as the Lloigor.[2] The Many-Angled Ones were adapted into Marvel Comics, as an alternate name for the Great Old Ones (though they haven't been named Lloigor).
