The Local Supercluster was approximately 100 million light years wide. It was home to a number of galaxy groups, including the Local Group which contained the Andromeda, Large Magellanic Cloud, Milky Way, and Shi'ar galaxies.

The Local Supercluster was home to a number of species including the Skrulls, Brood, Kree, Badoon, Rigellians, Humans, and Shi'ar. It was likely also the home of the Golden Galaxy and the Galadorians as well.
