History
This dog was born from the Inhumans' experimentation on canines, his mother had been brought to Attilan as a puppy and experimented on by the Surgeon Supreme of the Genetic Council. She was impregnated by her own cloned genetic material and gestated five puppies with the purpose of performing Terrigenesis in the womb. Lockjaw was the first of his siblings to be successfully mutated, and before the Surgeon could remove them from the womb for further experimentation, he teleported his siblings to four different locations. This dog was taken to the Negative Zone where he was discovered by the High Evolutionary and kept along with numerous other animals in an outpost before they were later stolen away by Annihilus.[1]
Through torture, Annihilus was able to force the kidnapped dog to unlock his power to teleport. Hoping to use this genetic potential to take over the Multiverse, Annihilus set out to kidnap the rest of Lockjaw's siblings. Instead, Lockjaw, with the help of D-Man, was able to defeat Annihilus and rescue his brother. The now free dog was then adopted by D-Man and taken back to Brooklyn.[1]Attributes
Powers
Extended Longevity Lockjaw's brother was exposed to Terrigen which gave him a much longer lifespan than the average dog, being already thirty years old when he first appears.[1]
Teleportation Lockjaw's brother was able to unlock the power to teleport under torture-induced extreme stress.[1]See Also
