History

Mortis is the half-sister of the famous musician Dazzler. She was kidnapped alongside Dazzler's friend Pixie by Dazzler's stalker, Bruce Banner. She and the rest of Banner's victims were released when Natasha Romanoff and Ghost-Spider stormed his secret laboratory.

Mortis was later hired by Orlando Octavius to capture Em Jay Watson whom he considered his property due to his sponsoring of Banner's research that brought forth MJ's Carnage symbiote. Mortis ambushed Carnage and Ghost-Spider, but the two held their ground and were able to escape.
