Loki used magic to keep the Bifrost from closing. He watched over Tony Stark, Dr. Bruce Banner, and his brother Thor. He took control of Thor and Banner's voices, causing the two to engage in combat. Loki watched as the fight entered New York City. However, as it began to rain, Loki's invisibility was revealed and Thor threw his hammer at him, causing Loki to fall to the ground which stopped his magic.[1]
Later, He disguised himself as Thor, and tricked a group of former A.I.M. in Scandinavia that he could offer them a portal to Asgard if they did his bidding. The group became the Wöken of Asgard. Loki was eventually caught by the Avengers but escaped.[2]
