Loki was persuaded by Deadpool to attack Asgard. When Thor and the Warriors Three came out in defense, an ambush of Rock Trolls turned the tide of battle towards Loki's favor.[1] With a subdued Thor in chains as his bargaining chip, Loki secured a surrender from Odin and laid claim to Asgard.[2] Deadpool later freed Thor and Odin, allowing them to retake Asgard and stop Loki from conquering Midgard.[3]
