History

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is the primary law enforcement agency of Los Angeles, California. Its members included sheriff Morris Walters, father of Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) (who tried to instill in her his moral values by example), and Captain Alexander Walsh, who collaborated with bounty hunter Spider-Woman when she started her career (she would deliver criminals the criminals she arrested to Walsh, who then sent her a bounty to a blind box so that she didn't need to reveal her identity). Army veteran Harlan Krueger applied to join LAPD, but was rejected and eventually became the villain Hangman.
