History
The Lost City of Z was a mystical civilization hidden deep within the forests of Brazil's State of Mato Grosso (north of the Xingu River) and characterized by glistening Mesoamerican architecture.[1] Spider-Man and Wolverine were briefly transported there via mystical means to battle each other as part of the "Contest of Chaos."[1]
Notes
Although Wolverine seemed to equate the Lost City of Z with the legendary city of El Dorado, El Dorado appears to be a separate hidden civilization accessed through subterranean caverns in the Andes Mountains of Bolivia.[2]
