History
Bishop shared a similar history to his 1191 Counter-part until the Techno-Organic Virus cure developed by Apocalypse failed and Professor X died. His death sent a psychic scream across the solar system, which was sensed by every telepath within range and caused Stryfe to loose concentration, meaning he was unable to shield Cyclops and Jean Grey from the vacuum of space, and they died. Bishop was a member of the rescue team who attempted to rescue the pair, but was killed by Stryfe overloaded Bishop with energy causing him explode when the energy discharged.[1]
