Lucky Wilson was a common crook who would do anything if the price was right. In the fall of 1943 he was hired by Nazi spies to plant a bomb in the Sunset Mine located in the town of Rankin in order to halt production. Lucky accepted the job for 10 thousand dollars, 5 of before and after the job. That night before he carried on his mission, Wilson was visited by the Vision who warned him against helping the Nazis. When Wilson refused to report the spies and was determined to carry on his job, the Vision left with a final warning: That Wilson's actions would have dire consequences.

The following day when Wilson set off explosives in the mine, he injured a number of workers inside. When more of the workers tried to use the elevator to go down and assist their trapped comrades Wilson then wrecked the elevator causing it to crash to the ground. When the Vision reappeared and attempted to apprehend Lucky Wilson, he fled back to the Nazi hideout.

There the Vision confronted him again and kept Wilson and the spies busy until the surviving workers caught up. The Vision left Wilson to meet his fate, and he was apparently beat to death by the construction workers.[1]
