Lucy suffered an assassination attempt by his uncle Manuel Perez in the role of the White Death, as he tried to eliminate all of Josiah Harrow's heirs so as to take possession of all the inheritance to be shared only with his accomplice, the lawyer in charge for the heredity. The assassination attempt was foiled by the intervention of Captain America and Bucky, who unmasked the White Death by halting the two accomplices.
