History

After gaining the power of the Infinity Stones, Gamora sealed the souls of the universe within the Soul Gem. In order to incapacitate its inhabitants, she additionally folded the universe in half, merging every soul with another. This course of action accidentally resulted in the creation of Warp World, a pocket dimension where history was rewritten and adapted to the fused beings. Inside Warp World, Moon Girl and Squirrel Girl were merged together into Moon Squirrel.

The smartest kid on Earth, and youngest computer science student at Empire State University, Luneen Lafagreen was often called "Moon Girl" by her classmates, until she was approached by a friendly squirrel that underwent Terrigenesis, growing to the size of a T. rex. This prompted Luneen to create a Miniaturized In-Ear Squirrel Translation Machine and team up with Tippysaur to fight crime as Moon Squirrel.

One day, Luneen was approached by a panicked Tippysaur, who revealed Doctor Doomactus was approaching Earth to either consume it, or replace its denizens with Doom-loving Doombots. Physical fighting proved useless against Doctor Doomactus, but Moon Squirrel managed to save Earth by convincing Doctor Doomactus that Earth's peoples already loved and praised him. Doctor Doomactus quickly left the planet, claiming it was now permanently under his protection.

Luneen later revealed to the Defenders that she had used Tippysaur's translator to convince Doctor Doomactus he was loved, and Iron Hammer commented that this meant the entire universe, and not just Earth, had been saved.

Moon Squirrel went on to fight Ratmaster,[1] and was among the many heroes who answered Emma Frost's telepathic call to battle with Devondra.[2]
